About

Ruth was born in Israel in 1945.

She knew she wanted to become an painter from an early age and she followed her passion in later years as she study the art of drawing in the art college in Rishon Le Zion, in the art college in Rehovot and the Avni institute.

Ruth was very influences from the drama in Caravaggio works, the realism in Rembrandt and Vermeer and the ambiance that was introduced by the Baroque artists.

"When I plan my compilation , I dwell on it's complicity as did the great Velasquez , who , in my opinion, introduced objects into his work and added more interest ".

"Another artist who influenced my work is the modern master Magritte, whose work , I think , has deep philosophy."

She was been featured in solo and group exhibitions throughout Israel and was able to create her own circle of art collectors.

"I was influenced by many artists, but I don't emulate them , I am just inspired by them and their works , which has made me able to create my own language that depicts modern events in my life"

Ruth is a mother of four, as well as an architect and a biology teacher.
